How does this work?

You really should see the how does it work page. [^]

It doesn't work for me!

The server is sometimes not working.  Contact me if you have continued troubles. [^]

The camera image is poor

The actual camera is an atrocious web cam; so the image quality is fairly poor.  I hope to replace it with a better web-cam if time permits.  You may want to alter your camera refresh rate if you find the image lags too much, [^]

Why would you do this?

Not entirely sure.  I know some electronics, PIC programming, UNIX administration, CGI, and HTML, but I wanted to combine them all into a single project. [^]

The submarine can't go backwards and left.

I know.  It never has (even before I started mucking around with it).  It's either a problem with my remote control or submarine, or it's a design fault that affects them all. [^]

How do you learn these technologies?

I already know them.  Perhaps you mean "How do I learn these technologies?" [^]

How do I learn these technologies?

There's nothing particularly radical here.  Everything you need to know to construct something similar is freely available on the web.  Google is your friend.  Drop me an email if you need pointers to get started. [^]

How did you author this site?

A lot of it was hand-crafted (especially the JavaScript).  Some of the web pages were modifed using Nvu. [^]

Are these simply contrived questions and answers?

Yes. [^]
