Oracle OpenWorld 2007 San Francisco

Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco ... was huge!   I was one of 45,000 attendees who took over the centre of the city for four days.

There were hundreds of conference sessions, keynotes, tech break-outs and all manner of weird activities.

Even had Billy Joel and Lenny Kravitz playing at the Oracle OpenWorld Appreciation Event.
Before the conference - a quick trip to pier 39 ... And the wine country of Napa Valley
For reasons unknown; the hotel provided companion gold-fish Cool tower
San Francisco still has three cable-car lines powered by a moving steel cable under the road.  The car itself has no engine; and is powered by clamping onto (and later releasing) the cable.
